A FLEETING KISS

I had so many wonderful words to say to you
of how my life with you is total bliss

But i never got the chance to speak them
as you stole them from my lips with a fleeting kiss.

spring

a freezing cold face
a welcome warm embrace
winters chill leaves no trace

spring slowly sneaks up behind us
taking us all by surprise
leaving millions of different coloured tulip bulbs on the rise

birds take to the newly budding trees
to make their nests with last years leafs

frogs hurry back to their favourite pond
as jack frost breaks the ice with a swish of his magic wand
